Karen Boll is an ethnologist employed as the holder of an Industrial PhD sponsorship. Karen’s interest lies in the relationships between businesses and the public sector, how businesses respond to the service-related and regulatory activities of the public authorities, and how the authorities can improve their understanding of the challenges being faced by businesses. She therefore mainly blogs about the dynamics of the relationship that exists between regulation and service.
